Today marks one year since my gentle giant of a brother passed away. Today we are finally having his memorial service even though we don’t have his ashes. We are burying a few mementos in a beautiful box next to Grampa as that was his wish.
I am heartbroken all over again. I miss his slow southern drawl. I miss his quiets ways. He looked ferocious but he was a teddy bear.
I will miss him forever, for always.
